Frankincense Powder Incense
Directions: Ignite a piece of charcoal and then pour a bit of the powder incense onto the charcoal.
For thousands of years, fragrant woods and resins have been treasured.
The name for this powder incense likely comes from "incense of the Franks" since it was reintroduced to Europe by Frankish Crusaders. According to the Bible's Gospel of Matthew 2:11, gold, frankincense and myrrh were the three gifts given to Jesus by the magi from out of the east.
Uses for frankincense: meditation, protection, purification, and consecration, to cleanse space and drive away negative influences. The aroma of frankincense is warm, woody, sweet and spicy. There is a practice with Frankincense that a sick person can do in order to ask for healing from the Masters in the Temple of Alden. This practice, can be found in "Occult Medicine & Practical Magic," by Samael Aun Weor.
